Not only does the Xi chapter help out the marching band but they also help around the School of Music and the community. Every semester the sisters of Xi go to the Ronald McDonald House in Amarillo and help clean, cook breakfast, garden and decorate at Christmastime. In the spring they help out at The WTAMU Showcase of Music, held at the Global News Center, by passing out programs and ushering guests to their seats. They also get involved around campus by participating in Relay for Life along with Kappa Kappa Psi Alpha Psi Chapter. They participate in WT's annual Shack-a-thon where they join the other music organization and build a shack out of wooden pallets and cardboard and sleep in the shack over night to raise money for people in third world countries. The sisters of Xi chapter are always ready to help the community with what ever it needs.
